How do you know lunt hasn't already signed a deal at KR? Or anywhere else for that matter so Leeds couldn't turn there attention to him?

The £150k bid was for neither Lunt, Clark or Houghton. It was in fact for Josh Hodgson, however it was rejected on the basis that there is a clause saying if he comes back to SL he will return to KR (providing they are a SL club of course). Leeds have had big interest in Danny Houghton though early on in the season, which we did offer 100k plus Robbie Ward, which they turned down.

I don't claim to know anything, I was merely hypothesising.

However if Lunt does sign a long term deal at KR I would expect it to be announced straightaway. Why keep it quiet?

Couldn't see Josh coming back to SL this soon, he's having a stormer down under and will want to build on that, his only move will be to a better NRL team.

I thought Lunt would end up in Leeds but reading that Ballin has signed so hopefully we'll keep Lunt.

I wouldn't call it ridiculous but certainly questionable releasing both Howarth and Cunningham as we did leaving us with just Danny H. Thankfully he hasn't suffered an injury.
