By the sounds of it we may have a clause in Will Smiths contract to extend into next season.
Going off Matt Shaw/Dan Tomlinson on a Facebook q&a they did today.

Wonder if the would cast doubt on Houghton extending beyond this season.

Things starting to come together by the sounds of if.

Ins: Trueman, Hoy, Walker?, Simm?, Longstaff?, Sutcliffe?, Smith?

If things don't work out with Simm, we may ask Wigan about Halsall again.

Rumours on the wire board that Danny Walker has fallen out with Powell and could be the next one out the door.

Yes, would be a great signing, maybe Riding could have a word.

Although if Houghton has signed I do see us signing another hooker.

Can't see it. We've brought in 4.

Only one could be Sutcliffe, but Leeds would need a centre to replace him. Maybe if Wests didn't pull the rug from under them? But don't see it happening now

Leeds have signed young second row / centre James McDonnell from Wigan - perhaps adding to the likelihood of Liam Sutcliffe departing Headingley at the end of the season.

They're after a centre too. No smoke without fire.

Will Carlos be fit to start the season? If not Sutcliffe would slot in at centre, then shift to SR when Carlos is back.
