He did not apologize for flicking the v at the fans because he didn't do that. Go check your facts.

Thought not, the fans who were there claimed he did, O'Meley apologised for his behaviour towards the fans, now go and check your facts.

not getting into a debate here but i was at the game and had a good view of the incident,i didnt see him flick the v,he told them to take the banner down.

I've actually just re-read the thread and in fact the opposite is true. It was established that he DID NOT stick two fingers up - he just waved for the banners to come down. The OP even apologized for the mistake after every other fan failed to support the accusation. I can't post links from my iPod but the thread title was Bye O'Meley if you don't believe me.

He apologized for any offense he might have accidentally caused in confronting the fans, not for making an obscene gesture. Do you really think he'd have got away with it that lightly FFS?

Kosh I find your constant rolling eyes and your use of ffs sake offensive, as a moderator I would expect better behaviour .
O'Meley admitted he made a scene about the banner and apologised for his behaviour and said he was upset that the fans had the banner up.
