On Twitter, Phil Gould has denied that Franklin Pele is joining Hull, giving just a one word answer No, to a question from a concerned fan, so that one may be dead in the water. I must admit that I was surprised,, quite excited even, that we were supposedly getting him. Not that I think it will happen, but I wouldn't trust Phil Gould, he has a history of denying things that have happened.

Yeah I agree , but it wasn't an evasive or ambiguous statement , just a simple "No". Was only posting it because he'd been discussed as a potential target.
I'd hope we will test the water with Salford, for Dupree , who'd I imagine will be high in demand, but worth a punt, nonetheless.

Dupree is already a done signing for Rovers from what I've heard

Rovers & Cas have submitted bids for Dupree so far .Other clubs will follow It will turn into a bidding war for him .

Amazed Cas have the money. I wouldn't get into a bigging war, I would target Ackers before Dupree.

150k is a lot of money for a player who has has played 20 or so SL games.
