If O'Meley didn't stick the Vs up at the fans, this should be locked. IMO. He's allowed to show some support for the coach, even if we all think it's misguided.

I'm tempted, but I feel I should leave it open for people to post their apologies to Ogre.
He gestured to the pond life to clear off and NEVER stuck his fingers up. I've never been so ashamed sitting near hull supporters. Shouted agar out when we were losing and kept quite when we were in the game. Never once cheated the team. There's a time and place to protest no when the players are trying hard.
Its the boards way of dealing with this whole situation which is leading to people taking protests to games. They brush everything that far under the carpet that people are getting to the point were they feel the need to make sure they can't be ignored.
He puts in 110% every week. I watched him from the minute he realised to the minute he walked away. He clapped the supporters then spotted the banner. He directed his anger to the people holding the banner then left the pitch. I'm glad the players are backing the coach, just shows the belief thats in the club.

totally agree the players had a dig today that was clear to any fan that attended the game. the players are backing agar. so its up to them now.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.;
I was not there and I refuse to comment on what he may or may not have done.
The situation between supporters and players was always going too sour as this carries on, the players are stuck in the middle at best. If we lose on Friday night at home then feelings will spill over and could turn very nasty.
The board will try more spin in the next week and IMHO this will only serve to make matters worse, they will use more players in there last ditch defence.
So to sum up so far - "Unprofessional" O'Meley (who we pay his wages) has flicked V's, at his "customers", has lost the respect of a number of "customers", should be "questioned" and then hung, drawn and quartered, could have caused some sort of confrontation/riot on the pitch and then started some potential fist fight with a number of "customers" waving a banner. AND just to rub things in is the worst forward in Super League.
