I said a winger or another forward, I've also said previously it would have to be a top class winger, someone like Tupou.

Overall I'd prefer us to use a quota spot on a forward.

Not usually wingers, only Wigan have a quota wingers from the top 6 I think amd that's French am Misk.

I did mean backs as a whole, not exclusively wingers. We just never produce enough talent so our quota spots are usually reactionary.

If wakey are bringing Fifita back, what’s Fetuli up to. Bet he could still do a job.

Looked like Savelio had played his last game for the club but now it seems he may still have a future.

Fitness still an issue but for me on his day he's a great player.

Problem is his day isn't that often

Again another player we think is great but in reality there's about 10 2nd rowers in SL better than him

This is where Smith's many years of experience is showing instead of the assistants learning on the job weve had for years. Most of us were shocked when he dropped him (likely theyd have strapped his hand up ans got him out there if he was on top form) now hes been handed one last lifeline.

Message to rest of the squad is then we arent accepting mediocre efforts and we are seeing a big increase in effort from the side already.
