Given the big minutes Mau has done on the field without rotation dont think missing 17 games is that bad.
Carlos has missed a lot of games lately and would be interesting to see the number of games missed by Savelio and Griffin.No doubt someone will have the info

Steady without been spectacular in your words but who in the FC second row has been spectacular?
Mau is certainly an upgrade on Savelio,Lane, and Griffin and i think he will be greatly missed if we go next season without a decent replacement or has been mentioned move Ligi Sao into the second row.
Losing Reynolds,Bowden,Johnstone Shaul and possibly Gale should save some cash

I do feel we get slightly more from Savelio personally, he scores more tries and makes more tackle busts, id also say he creates more with his offloads, but I think Mau offers more in defence. I think the second row position is a very steady if unspectacular position if that makes sense, maus defence is very good, if we can sign a second row with tight defence on lower wages win win.

As i say I think he l be a victim of a tightening of the purse strings, if we could of got him on a 1 year deal on a reduced wage I'd of been all for it, same with Houghton, if the players find better longer deals elsewhere, then so be it we have to let them go

Griffin has played 121 out of a possible 159 since joining the club which is about 76%. Of the 38 games missed 13 were last season. In 2019/2020 he played 47 out of 53.

Savelio has played 46 out of a possible 87 since signing in March 2019, about 53% which will obviously look worse by the end of this season. He played 19/24 last year.

What's the rules with regards to our over seas quota. With Reynolds and Mau leaving we l have 2 spots available.

What's the situation with Tuimivave with him being in his 6th season with us will he come off the quota?
