Regarding things held at Red Hall, you may remember a few years back we had a player (I forget his name) who walked out on his contract because he apparently never signed it. A dubious position in contract law, but whatever. Hull FC still held his registration and were confident that the RFL would back them up. Right up until the point he signed for Rovers and the RFL cleared it without a second thought.

Red Hall has a history of staying out of contract wrangles unless there has been a clear breach of RFL rules.

Don't know if anyone else has mentioned but a player left Hull to sign for Bradford when he had signed to play for Hull but had a change of mind. Seems ironic now that he is doing to Bradford what he himself did to us!

according to hdm refusing to train with bulls.looks like he's def on way.just a question on whether we pay a fee or not.if its ruled we have to pay a fee could see a player swap with pitts (if he agrees to move) been on the cards.hope we get carvell but would'nt want to lose pitts.don't feel 2nd row is as strong as some people think

thats what i think.was never bigger enough for a prop (even a pete gentle mobile one).has good feet,decent hands and aggresion.would like to see him ellis and tuson in 2nd row with whiting at loose and westerman and thomson battling it out for a spot.westerman definatley needs to raise his game this year.back to pitts i see him becoming a shane mcmenemy/chris chester type of player for us who both did a good solid job

He's an OK 2nd rower but is much better than thompson IMO who I've never seen anything from to suggest he's anything but totally average
