Not saying I want him. Just that he's available and looking to continue his career overseas...

On West Tigers Tyrone Peachey was made available earlier on in the year, with Wests chipping in his salary.

He'd be another Lovodua type signing and not what we need. But he primarily plays 2nd row/13. A biggish name too

I like Davey a lot and think he would be a good signing, would be a great role model for our younger players given his story too, imagine he will stay in the NRL though.

I'd rather sign Julian from Catalans as think we need to improve our 17 rather than invest in long term projects (when we have a few already), but could take Longstaff as a squad player if we recruit an overseas backrower. My fear is that Longstaff is seen as Ma'u replacemnet and I don't think he is the right type of player we need and isn't ready to play in our best 17 of we want to progress.

I think Julien is the most realistic we can hope for. Still be a decent signing and if we can get longstaff too then would give us plenty of options in the back row

Not convinced myself.

I know he’s a big bloke but has a few mistakes in him and has only lasted a year at Manly after being released by Parramatta.

He's been at Manly for 2 years.

Only seems like last year Rovers were linked with him and I saw him playing for Parramatta.

Must be because he got injured in the second game of 2021 and missed the rest of the season.
