not 1 month ago numerous amount of people on here was saying its a "done deal", "be announced next week", "he wants out of his Wigan contract" and now its become its a done deal for 2016?

If Wigan take up the option on his contract, and then demand xxx from hull for the final year of his deal, they can just agree with Scott to delay their contract by a year.

That said, wouldn't that count as illegal touching up, as you can't speak to players before the 1st June?

They could just buy out his remaining year of the contract if Taylor really wanted to leave. It sounds like his family are trying to appease Hull Fc fans by saying he will be signing for them but thats been happening for the past 3 years.

wouldn't surprise me, the amount of "rumours" and times Taylor has signed for Hull is ridiculous.

Depends if Wigan have set the fee as what hull would call "reasonable", or if Wigan were trying to exploit the rumours for a higher than normal fee.
