We all know there isn't a competitive team currently but thank you for stating the obvious.

I still don't need to know what goes on behind the scenes and how much money there is being invested.
As I fan why do I need to be entitled to that information?
Hull FC is a business, we wouldn't pry into any other businesses.

Worry about Rovers and the motives of your own board and the money going in and out.
Enjoy the sun shining on the East for a change.

Need vs want, entitled vs legitimate curiosity, business vs civic institution, the ability to be concerned about or enjoy more than one thing at a time, blah, blah, blah.

Realistically, SL is, if not dead, in a very, very deep coma as a competition in terms of uncertainty around the ultimate outcome. If I can’t enjoy a little temporary mystery and speculation with my inevitable conclusion, that’s a big old plate of boiled potatoes.

It's an interesting one as the academy feels like the one bit of the club that has actually been working.
