If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...

I dont normally get involved with talk of Wires elastic Salary Cap but do you believe that they can pay Hicks off in full and afford Monaghans reputed 80k plus salary?

I struggle to believe the Wires squad comes in under the cap anyway!!! :D

I would guess Hicks isnt going to be out of pocket, why would he agree to that?, but how they pay him and whether it is one payment or spread over time is anybodies guess.

Agree, gotta hand it to them.

And to think we used to be ahead of them until Messrs Rule and Agar got installed...

Hicks won't play for Wire in the 2011 season, so any payment to him in that season won't count towards the cap. I think.

dont know why you think this.

from the 2010 squad we have moved out 3 players and brought in 2.... so there is probably still some room on the cap.

maybe you just need to learn how to manage your wages properly ;)

Agree pal, Wire have Simon Moran and Tony Smith.. Hull have Jimmy Rule and Rich Agar.. Thats why your squad is so much better than ours, not cos of petty accusations of cheating.

couldn't agree more... a club the size of hull should be in alot better state than you are... with your fanbase and your facilities you should be right up there.... you're crying out for some good management.

its a well known fact that the fc board will not pay for a top quality coach, until that changes we will always be around the mid-table area! we're prepared to pay £150k or thereabouts for a player, (probably to keep season pass sales going), but unwilling to pay a decent whack on a good coach!

Hi Andy

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Absolute loving bullshit.

Wether you agree or not the board have proven their willing to spend outside the cap but think they've got the right man in Agar.

As said before, RL's Man City.

Whatever the case, I believe Hicks will have got a nice little cushty Christmas send off and in turn Wire have another world class back coming in.

Seems like good, efficient business on Wire's part.

Wire aren't the Manchester City of Rugby League..... we win trophies.
