Not sure about this at all, just a pawn in Allams stadium bid for me. Although on the plus side probabally means the end for Agar.

Interesting. So long as Allam has nothing to do with it, or his weird ideas for controlling all the sport in the City.

Why?

Because pearson is always the front man. If he had no involvement with allam then I'd welcome it, but as it is, this would effectively put Hull into allam's hands to do with what he wants.

Not necessarily. It may give him a clean slate - Pearson may decide to give him more time.

Great news for the club. If Allam wanted it he would have bought it. IMO Pearson has bought us independently.

Although I reserve my judgement at present if Ellam had wanted it he would have bought it, in my opinion.

Folks will be suspitious but if it happens then we have an owner who has never done a single disshonourable act in all the years he has been in the City. We love our club so have to be concerned with his ties to the Allams but James Rule has built a sports club that is actually in the black and a good prospect all we need now is some success on the field and a ruthless approach to what goes on, on the field, Pearson has those qualities. He probabaly realises that with a strong attractive winning team we can match City's gates with a fraction of the overheads. If this happens he has to come out with a strong (un fuzzy) statement of intent and address those concerns if he is to get off on the right foot with the fans. We don't know the facts yet but the press will be digging for news today I just hope this announcement doesn't scupper the deal before it gets off the ground.

In the mean time I reserve my judgement.

also the board may not want to sell to club to allam, hopefully they insist allams have no links to the pearson bid

allam stated he wouldn't buy one club without the other so can't buy us without completely contradicting himself.

pearson is a football man and there is no big money available in RL. Why would he want to buy a club in a sport he knows nothing about where there is very little potential to make any real money?

He's a front for allam

As I see it, presently we have a board who I feel are taking the mickey out of the faithful, the are just happy to plod along ect....
Now if at some point Allam does get involved, so what he appears to be a man who is not short of a bob or 2 and not shy at throwing his money about..he may be mad but I can live with that, no madder than Kath imo.
We have a good set up now and we could hit the dizzy heights of the 80s on the playing field with the right people on board, I think it is exciting times ahead.

But there is potential to make money, we are a well supported club, however a few have stopped coming, sucess on the field will increase attendances plus winning silverware brings in the money.
