I'm off to watch mt team play a derby match at 5pm on the day and couldn't give a rats booty about some football match being on.

It is a thread about football and people will usually air their views on the subject regardless of whether they are in agreement or not.

I have no interest in the football game but understand there are those who have an interest in both games. But easy enough to stream to a mobile device these days. (If streaming then you only have to avert your eyes from the rugby game when the commentators get excited, so in effect you will maybe miss a minute or 2 of the game)

Oh come on, it's the same people whenever there's a thread about City who just like to continually post how much they 'don't care' or how 'not bothered' they are.
Even to the point where they question your commitment to rugby if you like football too, it's sad.

If there is a thread about football they are entitled to their opinion. I will grant you that there is a certain poster or two who seems to go out of their way to bemoan any thread about football on our forum, even if it is relevant to the club.

It was just that the question was a genuine (but maybe naive) one about whether the game would be shown, some people gave some good suggestions, such as the streaming.

Why people felt the need to tell us how not bothered they are is beyond me.
