There definitely is. Sending offs, yellow cards and too many penalties conceded. When we cut this out we look really good. When we don't we get humped by average teams like salford and leeds
No there isn't. Defence was the issue in those games. We're not doing anything differently to last season in respect of discipline.

Last year we where 9th for penalties conceded , this year 2nd, it is a problem, alot of Leeds and Salfords pens came on the back of poor penalties.
Looking at this, the anmount of players sin inner, sent off and banned I think discipline is clearly an issue, even on Friday with a good lead we gave away a series of penalties and was put on a team warning, luckily good goal line defence and poor Warrington play stopped them getting back in the game.
On average, less than 2 penalties per game more than the team with the fewest. Not what I'd call significant, never mind lacking in discipline.
And the red/yellow cards - more down to the referees and their different interpretations of the rules.

It is, a lot are dumb (including a few with the ball in hand)and also late in the tackle count, at times last season I though we where poor, but much worst this year.
Don't agree about the refs, Watts apart I think all the decisions were correct.
Certainly been dealt harsly by the RL disciplinary though.

Crikey, next you'll be saying every penalty not given to us was correct as well. Penalties could be given at nearly every tackle/play the ball - it's up to the ref to (randomly) decide whether to award one or not.

That's rubbish, also big difference between sin binning and Pens.
I'll agree at times it seems to be random, but often penalties for both teams are obvious.
Every fan could say that they are hard done to my refs.

2nd highest number of penalties conceded in the comp, 7 yellow cards and 1 red would indicate otherwise. Our poor ball control (which was much better on Friday) and indiscipline have put additional pressure on our defence
You said penalties could be given nearly every tackle, that's the rubbish bit.
Taking into account offside, not square, not playing the ball correctly, not playing the ball at the mark, delaying the play the ball, plus the tackle process itself, I reckon most times one of those offences will be committed - and the ref decides whether to bother or not.
So, in a sense, you're right, every penalty we've conceded was almost certainly a correct decision.
