Willie Mason is a very expensive luxury, how old is he again, clearly a signing to put your fans bottoms on seats

Westerman is a 20 year old fantastic British prospect who believe me would have been courted next year by a lot of the big clubs, the reasons for this is simple he is talented, young and British

You make a very good point - the comparable situation (albeit without a fee) is Ratu, who "burst onto the scene" at Leeds and won awards there in 2009. Rovers chose to acquire him when they had Walker, Webster, Welham and Cockayne already for the centres. If Westerman makes as many appearances (5), and develops as little, as Ratu it will be a poor acquisition for sure.
