Then Griffin turned and was walking away and said something to himself. He didn't direct what he said at Kendall.
A good referee would have had the people skills to deal with that situation.
We had a great, value for money, entertaining first half and then Kendsll ruined it for everyone, because despite the experience he has, these types of occasions are too high for his standard of refereeing.
I don't blame Griffin one bit. A more competent referee would have dealt with that situation by laughing at Griffin and telling him to go have a half-time cuppa.
I say Griffin did nothing that merited even a ten minutes sin bin. And I challenge Kendall, the touch judges and anyone at the RFL to prove me wrong by telling us what was said..
