Reward your own players with a first team spot? From the Reserves, not necessarily from the Academy.

Just a poor look all round. I’d say the same if it was another team.

No reasons will convince me that this isn't poor from Rovers, these loan players aren't experienced players.

I'd bet Rovers could rest 10 players and still put out a side made up of first team amd reserve players. If the reserve fixture needs to be postponed as a one off I don't think that's a big deal.

resting players can also backfire on the team that does it, remember the cc sf at Donny v Leeds, they rested virtually their whole staring line up the week before whilst we continued at full strength....what happened? we took them to the cleaners!

There is no need to give reasons for the course of action our coach has taken and trying to convince you of anything would be a complete waste of effort.

Fortunately, Dave, your bet or thoughts are of no consequence whatsoever.

Willie P makes the decisions and his management of the team leaves us, at the moment, in fifth place in SL and looking forward to a final at Wembley. Not bad for a rookie head coach.

I believe that the relative performances of our two teams over the last two and a half seasons has left you feeling somewhat underwhelmed.

But would you say the same if it was Hull Fc and we were playing in the C/C the following week at Wembley?
Dont think most on here would if the club had reserve and academy fixtures to fulfill this weekend.
Most of us would go with playing a reserve team even if that meant bringing in 3 loan players

What type of team did we put out the week before the cup final in 2016/17, did we loan some players?.
