No doubt someone will meet his price, maybe a club who have just come into 100 grand?

Is he not very good then? His try scoring ration is pretty impressive

Think everyone sees his talent but let's say he wants the same contract as lineham after playing 4 games.....what would you do?

I heard he told Pearson he wanted £50k a season , I can imagine what Pearsons reply was to that .

I think it was slightly more than that......if I was that age 20k with add ons while I'm learning a trade would do nicely

I'd offer him an incentive based contract but I'm also a great man manger so he'd end up doing exactly what I wanted and feeling like he'd got what he wanted. I don't think the balling him out in front of his fellow players and criticising him in the press strategy would work in this instance

Agreed.....think I was told he is a modern youth and over confident. He is just getting a reality check at the moment. I think it's hard for any club as you cannot let talent hold you to ransom. Ben crooks is the same....good player and a great first season but his defence has been found out and it needs to improve but he is still living on the memories of his first season IMO
