Doesn’t look like maroon caps are any better. Their defence is as bad as ours was if not worse.

That was my take too. Looked knackered.

He looked very much like a player that’s not played much rugby.

Think he’ll certainly be an upgrade on Evans with bonus of not using up a quota spot. TS will no doubt be able to improve Ashworth.

Looks as though Watson is either out of ideas or the players are going against him. Not sure he’ll be there much longer if things don’t start improving. Think Powell may also be feeling the heat too.

There has been some suggestion that Wakey centre Reece Lyne could be on his way to Hull FC, his old club. But we asked around and we're told this rumour is well wide of the mark. Our understanding is still that Castleford is most likely going to be Lyne's home in 2024.
