In would say both Pearson & Hudgell have not thought about the negative implications merging the Academies would have on the fan bases of both clubs.
I just can not see any real benefit for this move as the negatives far outway any real positives if there actually are?
For me the biggest reason why we as a club fail to bring the youth through is the lack of quality and experienced Coaching from the Head Coach down through the youth development.
As the club is now the 3 main Coaches are Radford, Last & Horne not exactly a who's who of proven coaching. This is where the problem is we now have a Head Coach who is totally in experienced and has poor man management skills as has been proven. Only Radford has been to another club but only as a player. As for coaching non have experienced any out of the club so we are so insular and that for me is the problem
AP should have paid to get a Coach with a proven track record and got rid of all the backroom staff that have continually been part of the failure. Instead he rewarded an inexperienced assistant that was part and parcel of the failure by giving him the Head Coach role and he wonders why nothing is improving?????
