Wasn't he injured for half the season too, we all loved Kelly but we had the best years out of him. Also as it stands we don't need another halfback.
Yeah he got the dreaded Lisfranc injury earlier on this season. It was early on against the Warriors.
He's only played 10-15 games in 2 season

Rovers have signed Sam Luckley from Salford. Will have a good pack next sason
They have a good side, still think they are missing a good halfback, also depends of injuries to Coote and SKD and how the 3 new overseas players do.
The big gamble for Rovers is new coach, appointing a coach with no first grade experience, as seen my us (and them), that doesn't always work.

There’s no guarantee with any coach, experienced or rookie. Look at post-St Helens Ian Millward and the jury is very much out on Daryl Powell at Warrington. Probably a few others, if I thought about it some more.

Think the number of players OOC gives us a great opportunity to reset the squad.
Hopefully the players respond in the right way, and play for a contract.

I'd be looking at new contracts to Brown and Satae before the season starts.
These are the two out of that list that clubs should be after and we need to make sure they don't leave.

We need to be a bit less loyal / sentimental with recruitment going forward, need to be more like saints and say a player gets offered X amount from the club, if they can get more then let them go. Also be more astute like Salford, they have had far better recruitment than us in recent years, 2019 grand final and this year 80 mins away from old Trafford with only 1 player left from the 2019 team....they sign unwanted players like Croft, Cross, Ackers and Lafai whilst we sign Reynolds on the biggest deal in the club's history

We were offered Croft before he signed for Salford, AP asked Hodgson and he said to stick with Reynolds as he thought he would come good

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
