I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Isn’t Joe Wardle always injured, he will fit right in. Who comes up with these guys, good player if we get him on the pitch.

Exactly my thoughts although a decent player when fit its the 'WHEN FIT' bit thats the issue and would unfortunately be another Bowden scenario.

Unfortunately we still have a squad that has too many players in it that are complacent due to being here too long and believe both the club and players need moves to re energise as was evident with Danny Houghton and his interview where he stated he'd fallen out of love with the game etc. Thats was when he should have moved on but he didnt as he was comfortable so we should have moved him on for good of both parties.

Are we getting desperate and signing anything, as I said earlier, no good building a house if the builders are crap.

Again who's identifying these players??

We've a squad full of crocks why sign another in Wardle, the mind boggles

Maybe it’s to get full use out of the hydro jacuzzi we’ve got at the training ground

Always thought we should have given him a chance but if we only gave him a handful of games and now Cas have released him after only a handful of games there must be something not quite right about him.

There is a player in there
Lost his confidence in my opinion.
Needed a run of games with a strong pack around him rather than 10 mins off the bench

A positive way of looking at the situation is that the big earners who are off contract next year will be busting a gut to earn a new one for 2023.

Kenny-Dowell is a good example of this. Terrible last year but suddenly rediscovered his form when his contract was about to expire.

Always the same, we saw Ma'u do the same and Bowden to earn new deals.....

Should start making them shorter and incentive based

Let's just remember that until players leave, we have a small amount of cap space to deal with.

Wardle will offer us cover in the pack and at centre. He won't be on mega bucks either. He's an honest player who is hard as nails. Admittedly though his injury history is a concern.

Scurr is one of most sought after talents in the Championship.

Add these 2, plus the overseas forward we've apparently signed and the pack is set.

Hampshire should be on our radar too. Plus a hooker but unless players leave were a bit hamstrung
