dnt talk rubbish! our youngsters will get the opportunity this coming season. maybe you should be worried about your own youngsters who after breaking through last season have now been pushed back by the number of o/seas you have signed

Anybody who knows me, or reads my posts, know that i am passionate about Rovers and Hull bringing through youngsters. The up-coming season will see if either of our clubs share my view. It should also be noted that Liam and Chris have probably passed the youngsters stage and are really ready to be played.

Aspinall isn't a five star signing no- willie mason was but aspy will be of more use to you than a willie and will be a solid squad player who can give guidance to the youngsters. If the club can provide him positive support then I reckon he will br good value for money.
Aspy will give 100% on the field guaranteed.

washbrrok is a solid established super league player same again for burnett and i would much rather have lauaki then aspinwall very poor signing

Washbrook was offered a 3 year deal for another club, and Barnett has consistently failed to impress. Lauaki was hardly likely to accept a year with us when Wigan offered 3 years either.

Why do people consistently ignore facts on here?

Both Cunningham and Green should have at least half a dozen appearances in the first 17 under their belts by now. Why they havent is up for debate and Hull's choice of 18th man for our last game of 2011 doesnt sit well with me.

Clean slate for Gentle but the 2 mentionned above are probably behind on their development as things stand because of last years selections.

Two of those three wouldn't have signed a one year contract, and Aspinwall is probably better than the third.

Better than luaki who always appeared lazy to me- no worse than washbrook and Burnett and probably cost less.

Squad definitely better balanced than last year, second row experienced cover was essential. Aspinwall virtually a straight Radford swap - so what was the point ?

Major signings were made early, everybody forgets what major signings and improvements Seymour, Heremia & McKinnon are.

So....

1 McKinnon
2 Whiting/Turner/Sharp
3 Martin
4 Yeaman
5 Briscoe
6 Horne
7 Seymour
8 O'Meley
9 Houghton
10 Lynch
11 Westerman
12 Tickle
13 Manu
14 Moa
15 O'Carroll
16 Aspinwall
17 Heremia

With only the two unpicked number 2's and young Jamie not in the 17. Young forwards defintely get some outings.

I can't understand HOW our salary cap is full ?? Just compare quality and 'strength in depth' with Wire, Wigan, Leeds, Hudds and Saints.

Just plain don't add up.

Really hope PG top class coach - cant see us getting above 6th.

Not entirely sure where the massive upgrade comes from the year after either - come on Adam - make us all feel guilty for questioning you - just one NRL winger will shift all those passes still sitting on the shelves.

Washy needed the change of scenery for me to kick on his career and the 3 year deal was always going to sway his decision. Burnett simply not good enough and was given a year at another SL club to prove himself. Lauaki was probably the most frustrating player ability wise and whether Wigan bring something else out of him remains to be seen.

Aspinwall has a point to prove which may benefit Hull FC, time will tell.
