Given how much the squad was de-stabilised around the time of the Manu announcement and subsequent comings and goings, anyone think it might be worth holding back until our involvement in the playoffs is over?

AP has made too much of a song and dance about the deadline and September, if they don't announce something this week then they will look a bit foolish.

I agree, but think it might be the best thing. I very much doubt it will happen though.

I agree, there's still at least 2 more games for us this season, but Pearsons backed himself into a corner by saying first week of September signings will be announced. Maybe an extension to Aspinwall and O'meley would be the best things to announce this week, then new players once the play offs are over.

Scott Murrells dad told me on saturday that he was hoping to sign for us (Scott, not his dad).

Hope he was just winding me up, as we have signed enough mediocrity in the past !

didnt pearson say signings to be announced after or on the 4th of september, which would be tomorrow?

we know we have 7/8/9 players signed up, we're all just to impatient to wait!
