He's a seasoned professional, who IMO isn't any worse than our current players. What he does have over our current right hand side is experience.
Whether you think Turner/Whiting/Crooks could do the same job or not, it's hardly a statement of our intent for 2012. I think the fact we forked our thousands for Andy Lynch is more indicative our intent tbh.
It's a 1 year deal, the obvious conclusion to draw is it's a stop gap until 2013. I'm sure I've read somewhere , might have been an interview with Bomber, that we have irons in the fire for 2013.
While I'm not exactly doing cartwheels over this signing I'm willing to give the bloke the benefit of the doubt and see how he goes. I'm certainly not 'disgusted', 'horrified' or any other absurd hyperbole.
