Not really
Get some money for him while we can.
We have to be realistic we wont win anything again next season with or without Connor and will be lucky to finish in the top 6.
We have such a large turnover of players after next season and not a lot worth keeping that i think the club will focus on this for recruitment rather than next season.
I know its probably writing off next season but for me the sensible way to move forward under Tony Smith.
I disagree with next season been a right off. To win CC you only have to win about 3 matches and Leeds and Salford have shown this year that anything can happen
I still think on paper we have a top 5 side easily. On our day I think we can beat anyone. It’s just our days have been few and far between in recent seasons.
We have the players to succeed as shown by our wins against Catalan and Wigan this , it’s just about finding a way to stop the difference between our best and worst games been so vast. Connor on his day is a match winner, releasing him would weaken us and tell the whole squad and fans we have no ambition.
And who in the right mind would pay a fee for someone they can get for free next year. If he did go it would be for a nominal amount.
