see all the usual doom and gloom merchants are painting a black picture, i really do wonder what these people get there rocks off on,will there be creaming in there socks if we get beat sun? anyway to me if true looks a good think for fc, always liked pearson seems a good guy,but lets see how things pan out.........right lets get that shirt washed for sunday............COME ON UUUUUUUUUUUUU UULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Not likely, we can only buy british now as we have no overease spots and there are not tonnes of british players with quality going spare.

Just a thought will he actually be at the game on Sunday as he's not mentioned it nor was he asked by Carpet on Humberside.

Think at present from what he has said it looks the best for Hull FC to have a new owner, as seems the old BOD couldnt agree on how to take the club further and were in a stalemate.

Here's hoping for the success on the field at long last.

He's made mistakes,as he's readily admitted in the past,but overall the good far outweighs the bad....he needed extra investment in the club when he sold his interests to Duffen/Bartlett in 2007,that was the plan.Duffen messed up whilst the club was in the Prem,long after Pearson had gone....

Brown got City into the Premier League,making him the most successful manager in the club's history.

And as far as Allam is concerned,a lot of the comments regarding mergers were in relation to his beneficial nature in regards to Hull's sporting teams ("i couldn't buy one club without buying the other" etc) and were taken out of context.His loan to Rovers was an example of that.Anyway,he'd be under no illusion if he tried to purchase the club of it's history,significance to the community and it's identity......but i doubt the previous regime wouldn't have held back in selling him the club on the back of some quotes delivered off the cuff during an interview....

Some of the paranoia exhibited on this board in relation to Allam is alarming.

Yep , But room will have to be made if we are going to bring in those "couple of class players " he was targeting .

If Allam had wanted it he would have bought it, he has more disposable wealth than Pearson, do you think Kath & co would have cared who bought it, no all they watned was to sell.

Love the consiparcy theories though
