Of all the Hull young prospects, not including Litten, who is almost established, I think Armstrong, Staveley and Jebson will be the three that go on to good things with us. The others may well also make it, but when I have seen the three I mention, you can tell they have it, With Smith's guidance we could soon have the core of a team of Hull first players, although we need to be patient ,as success hungry fans. The answer is so obviously in how we nurture the talent we have coming through, rather than importing players. As good as Clifford has been for us, it is undeniably a blow; to lose him. We must now recruit a new playmaker , effectively start again with two thirds of a new spine, and there must also be doubts on Hoy's future, as he and Clifford were good friends, the lure of a return home could prove tempting, if he has the chance to go back, although he does look like he's now enjoying the UK a bit more of late .I actually feel better about the club and the journey to come than I have in years and there is nothing better than seeing Hull lads winning. Players like Yeaman, Horne, King, and latterly Tag and Houghton know what that means to the fans and it's special.
