You've still not said how the club's PR is worse than in recent years.
It is pointless even attempting to have a discussion/debate with you, your black & white glasses are way too strong, you continuously moan or mock posters who have anything negative to say about our club which makes you just as bad.I love my club and pay my money, if I or others want to raise concerns we have every right to do so. Plus you are one of the worst trolls on the KR board and have often posted links on their board when there club have claimed top 4 finishes etc, your a hypocrite!
Unfortunately (and incredibly) Dobbo isn't far off. In the cold light of day, the PG/SM dream team that a lot of posters were creaming theirselves over isn't working out as yet. The only thing that has kept most of us hanging in since they took over was the signing of G. Ellis.
Structuarlly I don't see a major improvement in our play. Flat in attack, dummy runnerless, and no fooker ever on the line-breakers shoulder. We must be the worst team in SL for kicking on the last tackle, Seymour/Horne are forever rushed, and I'd wager, without looking at the stats, that we've had more last tackle chargedowns than any other team. These are just the basics that we can't seem to do right, whoever's in charge.
I like PG, and as with Rich before, he'll get my support, but boy, he's probably realising now the full extent of what he's took on, and the massive, major overhaul that's required to get us anywhere near.
I think that, yes, in the short term perhaps we have taken a slight step backwards. Perhaps even compared to the start of the year.
However, compare our first choice 17 with our first choice 17 now, somewhat different isn't it? IMO the coaching/management staff have seen an opportunity this season to acquire some players they want and offload some they don't. While that may be detrimental to us in the short term they've taken the long view which is exactly what this club needs. Plus the above is coupled with an unfortunate spate of injuries.
I couldn't agree more. There are some pathetic rants on here. Hopefully wizeb and hullandbroncos have formed their own suicide pact. We have a seriously depleted side, no settled halfback combination, young inexperienced players and in last night's team unfit and out of shape players in radders and Mcgoldrick yet people still expect miracles. Beginning of season showed a lot of promise, it was there for all to see that our plays and structures had changed but with a lack of personnel and players leaving its been hard to maintain that momentum. PG knows what he wants and is clearing the decks, we are currently a work in progress and I for one will not over react or judge on one season as some of the hysterical seem too. This new set up needs and deserves our support right now, let's get behind this team and when Gentle has all the pieces of his jigsaw and if we still under perform at least we can make informed decisions.

Thats what i think you try say anything negative and you're classed as a troll or being wrong. Truth is were miles behind and will take major repair work getting anywere near
Heremaia (as you accept) and Horne. Whilst Horne has been here for years, Gentle hasn't been, so he won't have been training to Gentle's methods as much as others with the time he's spent injured.
I agree with your general point that we should be better than we are even with the players missing, but I think you're painting the situation as overly simplistic and downplaying the mitigating circumstances out of anger.
I think of tonight's 17:
5 won't be here next year (Turner, Manu, Aspinwall, Nicklas, Radford); 3 won't be in our first choice 17 (McGoldrick, Crooks, Pitts); Horne will be fullback rather than halfback, and tbf has had 2 good games when he's played there this season; Seymour will hopefully have a halfback partner of the necessary quality to share the playmaking responsibility; Lynch should have other props taking some the burden he's having to carry; Watts will be much fitter and more used to his teammates on the back of a full pre-season.
Which leaves Whiting and Westerman, who I thought were amongst our better performers, Yeaman (who had an uncharacteristically sloppy performance, but is one of the most dependable players in the squad normally) and Briscoe, who is clearly a class act when supplied with good possession.
With the right acquisitions I still think we could be much better next year.
I'm saying that we should have better structure and organisation no matter who is playing. Being disorganised on last tackle plays when you have your 1st choice half backs on the field is knack all to do with the injuries. Having no one backing up or making dummy runs is not because we have injuries

I think most of us fans know that and we have an owner and coach who also know that and are trying to do something in order to address the balance. So to say you won't be renewing your pass based on this season is a ridiculous statement to make were if finances allow you can renew your pass support the regime and see how we go before jumping to conclusions like that. If the old board were in place and Agar still coaching I would understand and support your claim but let's give the new team a go first eh.

I'm far from being suicidal, in fact, I'm an eternal optimist. Just frustrated that we can't even do the simple things correctly. It shouldn't be difficult for a quick play the ball on the last and to make sure our kicker is deep enough to get the ball adequately downfield.
