I think he bases himself in Leigh, not too sure.

It would have been a different ball game at 14-18 of course, but it might have not ultimately decided where the 2 points went.

Tough call, i've seen worse.

But, you do win some and you do lose some. You should be happy with the performance you gave, because Hull were very good in large parts of the game. It must be heartening after the majority of your fans had expected a thrashing prior to the game.

Derbies bring out the best in players, you could say Cooke and Hall had the two best games for either side.

Silverwood?

He's part of the Dewsbury society but lives in Batley.

I am an ex-ref but I feel no need to blindly defend them. Previous refereeing experience does however give me the ability to appreciate decisions that are made, in real-time, without the benefit of multiple television angles.

Tonight's ref may not have got every decision right but he got far fewer wrong than the players & coaches, let alone the clueless supporters.

Like I say - no wonder refereeing standards remain so low despite record investment. They can't even accept justified criticism without resorting to insults.

end of the day a decent team would not be arguing about one or two dubious calls. We are not a decent team and as such it has manifested in us claiming a try that might have been might have won us the match.

Currently at this level we are no where near good enough.
