Early signs are good but we need tio judge things at the end of the season, not the beginning
I agree Jake but the confidence is oozing from this team and that alone is worth points. If we have convincing wins against Cas and Wigan there wont be any teams that will look forward to playing us especially when you have Big Frank and Gaz Ellis coming off the bench together.

If we beat cas and wigan then we'll have every reason to look forward to the rest of the season confidently. Things looking good so far but we shouldn't get carried away
Bandwagonners, how utterly ridiculous! We've won two games (albeit convincingly) on the back of two absolutely dreadful seasons with the direst rugby for years. Harsh criticism of the coach and owner for why we were not competing and playing more gash than good is more than justified as was rhe call for the coach to be rid of. personal vendetta, doom and gloom you have no idea what you are talking about. Do you sit back as an investor and watch silently as the person/persons running things turn a team going forward into one close to being relegated and last season play incredibly poorly aside from a short period of player led change? Just because you disagree with others doesn't allow you the scope to be a complete troll of the worst kind! Fast forward 4 months, we have the best squad assembled probably since the 80s, it's even better than the 05/06 squads iMHO. AND importantly the way we play, the professionalism, the preparation so far seems to be miles in front of the last two seasons so we are able to hopefully maximise the talent we have. So far that's a big plusand credit to the coach and his team and whatever it is that has changed things we as fans can say yes, this is what we wamt, attacking, thoughtful, professional rugby with desire from players that has beomg missing. I'll support that (not that i ever stopped) and applaud the club as a whole for the changes (signings/direction of playing etc) Does that make me or anyone else impressed with the changes, excited with how we're playing bandwagonner's...no.

Spot on, and I'm not too sure a two week break is what we need at this time.
I don't think anyone's suggesting a bronze statue outside the KC for our coach. If we'd started badly, he'd have been absolutely slated on here. But we haven't, so maybe he gets cut a little slack.

I've not seen any threads calling for his head since the season started so maybe people had already worked that out for themselves?

More of the same please Mr.Radford
A public petition calling for the man to lose his job and made up libellous comments regarding him being a bully (see the moderators comments from a couple of weeks ago) - yeh, you do have a personal vendetta, what else is it? As for calling me a troll, that's rich. Is that because I've outed you as the troll you are, so you call me one back? Very school yard of you Bumpy.
Anyway, enough of feeding the troll - Radders. He and Tony inherited an absolute mess in terms of salary cap management and the squad they were left with. It's taken them a couple of years to sort out and ship out the idiots, but it's now there's, it's his team, no excuses on that front.
Our attack, baring the end of last season, has been very poor. But let's not forget our defence was very good last year, and we were right at the top of the stats for offloads, meters made, tackle busts etc. We were capable of getting the ball into the danger zone, just terrible at converting that pressure into tries. Not everything was as terrible as we think last year.
Fast forward to this season, we've made some brilliant signings and worked very hard at fixing that attack, whilst maintaining the good points from last year I've just mentioned.
It's a great start, credit to him and everyone else at the club.
Same at rovers. With a scratch side it's hardly a disaster losing at wire. As for your paper thin squad, surely that's down to your ceo and football manager as much as chester
Another one jumping on the radford band waggon! Makes me sick ha Seriously though. Good post, I feel the same
No Bandwagon for me. Call it as I see it, but always on the basis that if its right to criticise, it's also right to compliment when thinks go well. Radford copped it last season, so deserves the support for the early signs of improvement.
Always try and keep a sense of perspective. As a previous thread has shown, we've only ever finished top of the tree three times. Saying that, we are not bottom of the league either. And the league table don't lie!
