That's how buying tickets for an in demand event goes, little to do with the club. The SMC not allowing us use of the ticket office hasn't helped, but the RFL has helped us out on that front thus far. Others have got served fine, you have been unlucky. I'll be queuing up on Saturday.

I'm kicking up a stink because its taken me almost 3 hours to get a disabled seating ticket, been passed from pillar to post, got angry at Lucy Hursts voicemail which rhe RFL number from Hull FC's link got you to and having to speak to Hayly on our reception to get an alternative number for the RFL. The RFL told me they've never had to do this before for a club and have been completely overwhelmed by it. So yes I'm a bit peeved athaving to put £10 credit on my phone and £20 on hubbys because its 7p a minute to Ticketmaster & RFL ( no mention anywherw who was selling disabked ticketts). The car park pass at Donny on the other hand was a breeze and took less than 5 minutes from dialling the number.

Why? DO they now run the RFL, Ticketmaster and Hull FC?

unlucky being told wrong information by the rfl? if the club can have 3000-4000 north stand tickets for saturday they should be able to have 1000-2000 east west available

Sounds like the RFL have been overwhelmed on all fronts and the staff on the phones don't actually know what's going on. FC saying they've sold out but people still saying they've rang since and got tickets.

... I'd image not all the tickets will have been allocated to both clubs, there'll be a limited number on "general" sale.

apart from the two sponsors/club officials blocks all other areas are on sale to both sets of fans, leeds rightly have a couple of blocks more due to higher pass holders (even though we have had higher cup gates)

Not quite sure why all the Leeds blocks were available but not all of ours. Was hoping to sit in the West stand as last year but that wasn't even on sale online. The other 3 teams have had tickets on sale for walk ups/members this morning.

We get told on sale from 10 am but they're on sale online before this. The 7p a minute phone line appeared to have no one answering.

Why do we/the RFL have to make it so complicated?

Even though its a train ride away I will be buying from the stadium on Saturday because I have had trouble with buying rugby tickets online and on phone before, ive learnt from my mistakes over the years.

I have just bought a ticket in E4.

Interesting conversation with the person at RFL. Firstly,

I was offered the members discount before I mentioned I was a season ticket holder.

They then told me that Hull FC had chosen to sell tickets in this way as they didn't want to do Tele sales or Web based sales them selves and had asked the RFL to help out.

When I pointed out, that despite being a season ticket member, I didnt live within close proximity of the stadium to allow me to buy a ticket on Saturday, they simply reiterated that this was Hull FC's decision.

Begs a number of questions -

1. do Hull FC have to give cash to the SMC for internet / tele sales?
2. why could they not have these on sale at the stadium either immediately before or after Fridays game?
