As Bones said above, assuming he stays as he is he might struggle to get a place when the new guys come in, I also think freeing up the cash has been the more significant reason we've had to release him.

Lets hope Bowden gets back to full fitness and starts to hit some form.
Green is miles ahead of him at the moment.

Disappointing to lose home grown players but so long as the quality of the team goes up then we just need to accept it. Greens probably been our form forward in the last few games and him and paea been much better than Taylor and bowden but maybe they are putting themselves in the shop window.

Litten always brings energy to the game when he comes on but when the coach prefers Danny washbroom the writings on the wall. He wont be a other Josh Hodgson but the fact we seem to be intending to use fash as back up hooker is a worry. I think Houghton has mused a chunk of each of the last 3 seasons and I wouldn't be confident of many wins with fash as our hooker

A shame to see them leave but with respect neither are game changers. Green has done well in recent weeks but has missed about a third of games over the last five years with injuries. Litten is unlikely to be another Hodgson. If Rovers want to take that chance, fair enough.

Radford and Pearson have got little wrong when releasing players.

Don’t think Fash will be seen as a long term option, just that’s it’s something that can be added to his game (as he’s not seen as a front line prop).

Think we’ll maybe look elsewhere when Danny plays less minutes.
Didn’t we look at O’Brien before he joined Giants from the Bulls?

they'll be maths involved too, with the salary cap. if we are bringing in a few quality players they won't be cheap. i like green and he will always be one of the CC16 players, but you can't keep everyone
