Watson will be a fantastic appointment. His record at Salford speaks for itself.

I'm not sure what this says about him as a person though if he can sell his Salford dream to players then walk away mid contract.

Ambitious, I'm not sure the club have the money to kick on.

Watson would be for first choice out of any realistic coaches we could appoint.

I don't think it will happen though, as I'm not sure he would move to Hull, think he might wait for a Wigan or Warrington job and I'm not sure Pearson will pay a fee.

Been reading some Salford fans comments though, such as a sidwwards move and wouldn't want to work under Pearson, both absolute rubbish. Pearson would be a great boss to work for, fully backed Radford with money and loyalty, Hull are a much bigger club than Saldird and he would have much more chance of winning something at Hull than Salford with the resources.

I've also read he would have to rebuild the club, again I don't think that's true, our squad isnt far off and with a new coach and a couple of signings he could get us challenging.

I hope it happens, as he wont be able to take Salford much further particularly with them losing key players each year.

understand Warrington have also asked to speak with Watson

Would be a more compelling destination for him obviously. Geography, budgets, marquee players and regular major finalist.

Think it would be a risk for teams like Warrington or Wigan to employ Watson.
Even though being coach of Hull brings pressure with it, he’d only have to initially make us contenders. Other clubs are constantly in Grand Finals anyway, so anything less is a failure.

He will replace price at wire for me. I think from your perspective it shows Pearson is determined to get a decent coach in.

Doesn’t look like it’s off to me . More like they’ll talk again when the season is finished or they’ll announce it when the season is finished .
