I still think we've been slow on a move to bring a decent second rower in. Lane has shown frailties in defence earlier in the season and today his skill set was poor.

Still got Griffin missing for 3 more games. Who knows with Andre? While some people are claiming we have easier games coming up, I think our opposition will be thinking the same when they look at our back row.

When Rovers lost Abdul: they at least have shown some ambition by gluing in a halfback from down under.

We release Evans from our first team roster and don't bring anyone in.

I think if we can get a decent second row then I think we'll have a good looking squad with depth to attack the back end of this season.

It feels like Rovers are flapping like us last season. Maybe it's the difference between bringing in an experienced head coach and hiring a rookie.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I’d agree that Scott should keep his place as he was again good today and pressure is really in Carlos to start performing.
McIntosh & Scott have had the criticism and rightly so in the most part but both have stood up strong of late and deserve credit.

Sadly Lane despite a very brief slight upturn in his form a couple of weeks ago he really has been poor and has to be time and worth Staveley having a shot next week.

Thought Taylor had a decent effort coming back in after a spell on the sidelines with his shoulder.

We certainly lack some size and could have benefited from adding a replacement or two but the club don’t seem to be deviating from their plan. Rovers look like us last season in terms of appearing as desperation/panic to bring in replacements immediately which so far doesn’t seem to be panning out so well.

Think a Leeds win is needed this afternoon to close the gap in Salford in 6th.

That's exactly what I was thinking Even when we lost 7 in a row Smith kept calm and said we will improve and show patience.

Peters' body language is awful. He's clearly struggling and it's effecting his decision making. Rovers are lacking leadership.

If you see him out tonight be careful what you say to him. We know what happens when he is rattled.

For me after today's performance, when all centres are fit, Carlos to miss out.
Scott is developing really well the more game time he gets.
Lane for me, again poor today.
Think the occasion rather than it being just another game got to the players.
At least Rovers can console themselves with the Clive Sullivan cup.

We just got over the top of a poor team today.

Can we be consistent in getting the result against likely better opposition over the next few games with that back row we had today?

We know Griffin misses the next 3. We don't know on Andre. We're down to scraps in the bsck row right now. The back row is the area of the field where your best players should be.

We had it good there under Radders with Sika, Mini and Ellis. That's why we put trophies in the cabinet.

I do think Griffin, Andre and Cator could be exiting. But beyond those three I see nothing at the moment. I''d like one more in there. Especially when like today two of those are missing.

Outstanding work from Trueman

Never understood why Rovers let a multi trophy winning coach leave and appoint a complete novice.

Can’t believe I’m saying this as i love him but If it’s dropping a Centre it would be Carlos but I just think Scott has more experience in back row and would transition easier.

100% need to be telling Cliff to sign that new contract and he can become the new captain from next season. Carlos would happily agree for the team.

Time to bring in a backrower and give Stavely some game time. I wonder if that’s why he was brought back to play reserves. See him in our structures
