It was Colchester, he did have a good record however by a good chairman is all about selecting the 'correct people' for the job - Pearson only managed this once IMO.
I sure as hell hope he is a success, the blind faith in him is worrying though.

Phil brown kept city up, got city promoted then managed to even keep city up for a year.
with parkinson and molby he quickly realised he'd made a mistake and then replaced them.
I understand where you coming from regarding blind faith but I've been very happy with what James Rule has done whilst he's been at the club and this mean he will continue and be provided with cash as well.
it's hard not to get carried away by todays news.
