Even if it were as some on here try to claim I'm saying, the linked article supports rather than contradicts that view. That's partly why someone's requested the motion. The Council's trying to straighten up the mess that's been created by the poor handling of the situation.

Allams should have put they plans on the table instead trying to bluff it out ..Just because he stated he would give a gift to the people of Hull but he wanted the KC Stadium I for one didn't vote for people to just give away the City of Hull assets

I certainly don't think his credibility has been enhanced, also interesting to see AP talking about City not selling etc etc, when did Allam last make comment about City, the one thing he does ACTUALLY own as far as the KC related stuff is concerned.

It's like watching the cyber equivalent of children putting their fingers in their ears and humming in fear of hearing something they don't like. One person incorrectly assumes I'm defending Mr Allam and the others seem to stupid to think for themselves.

Been away for a few days and surprised this tread is still rumbling on.

For the record, Something declared or stated positively, often with no support or attempt at proof is an assertion. A little bit like banging on about one individual or stating the council have made a mess of things. Or a little like blindly stating the council have effectively blocked further development and investment the area due to this one decision. A Little bit like trying to let on your a multi contruction investment planner.

One thing which has not been metioned in this thread is Allams record in the city for being a poor payer of creditors and causing several business's to either go under under or be put in a very poor position. Allams poor business conduct after taking over Ruscador's hurt a lot of people and business's. This is not that long ago and with people in local authority still now in positions of power that they were 20 years ago, perhaps, just perhaps, Allams passed is hindering him far more than his poorly planned pipedream.

Just a thought.
