I'm not sure whether Hullrealist is meaning they are offering him £100k a year rather than us £100k for him. Not clear really. the bigger worry for me is this. Is this the sign of things to come as we spend less and less money on wages etc will we find that all these youngsters we we putting so much weight on for our future ( which I worry about anyway) will develop into good players and then be snapped up by other clubs.

Pretty sure it means Wakey are offering Scott £100k a year. And agreed, we shouldn’t be offering near that.

They’re offering Scott 100k, not the club as he’s OOC. Not worth that much right now IMO

A real shame his time at the club is ending the way it is. That edge of Kelly, Carlos and Ratu produced some of the most exciting rugby I've seen in my time watching the club.

We should be all over Hawkins, he'd bring so much balance and stability to the side, a proper controlling 7 with some real quality. But we'll probably balls up any offer we put forward, unsure whoelse would be in for a 7, most other teams seem set. I'd offer him marquee money (if we can) with no get out clause.

if other nrl clubs are interested in hawkins,i dont think we stand any chance of getting him.be interesting to know if we are one of the sl clubs looking at him
