Maybe Flanagan would flourish under Smith, his confidence looks fragile , yet when he was at the Roosters , he looked a player, for sure. Smith seems to have that ability to restore confidence , as seen with McIntosh and to be fair, with Matty Burton in the halves, Flanagan will never be the controlling, dominant half, so I may well be wrong on him. Wakeham , on the other hand, is not of the required standard, for me,; he is a hard worker with some pace, but I've seen a lot of Wests games and he rarely produces a performance that is anything other than meh. Clune would be good, if we can land him and if Rovers don't want Schneider, there is a conversation to be had there, but with doubts about Abdul's fitness to the fore, I can see him signing for them at the end of the season.
