This is all a moot point because as I predicted the day after Westerman left, we've had our 'we'll go with what we've got' article and any monies left will be minimal and only worthwhile if we can pick someone up mid-season.
But....
I'd stay away from Farah. Undoubted quality, but he's a bit of an idiot. Anyone who goes round saying he's better than Cam Smith is daft. Doesn't seem the 'type' to settle well over here.
Idris is another who wouldn't settle I reckon, but he may be good friends with Pritchard? Either way he (like Farah) would probably command more cap than we have spare.
As for the others in the article Wilf put up, I reckon I'd maybe take Tonga, but not if it came at the price of Logan's starting place.
We don't particularly need Locke and is it worth potentially losing Shaul for someone who has hardly ripped it up over here! However, if he could be gotten on the cheap I reckon he may be worth a look at as bench hooker?
Ferres? Do we need another 2nd rower? Who would he replace? He'll command big money and will probably end up at Salford.
Pomeroy's gash, but I wouldn't rule it out given Radford's praise for him earlier in the year.
