| If this happens then I think that surely as good as confirms that some investment has actually come to fruition.

| Sounds like Rowley has confirmed he has agreed and it is just a financial package for Salford that needs sorting before we announce it. Don't think Dan say "will be Hull's sixth coach" otherwise
Rowley, meanwhile, will be Hull's sixth head coach of the 2020s, following Lee Radford, Andy Last, Brett Hodgson, Tony Smith, and Simon Grix, who is currently leading the club as interim head coach and could go back to his assistant coach role under Rowley next season.

| Its getting played out far too much in the media for it to not have any serious strength to it now. Almost as if the club are drip feeding this out.
I didnt think.he would come but it seems all of a sudden we have some serious cash on our hands.

| That's a lot of brass in rugby league, particularly to secure a coach. Salford are clearly cashing in on the investment speculation. If this comes off, it's probably the most significant event in the clubs recent history. Certainly since 2016. We could finally have a glimmer of hope for the future after a miserable start to the decade. Fingers and every bl00dy thing else crossed!!!

| If we are paying 6 figures for a coach, must be some serious investment.
Read he is also bringing Inu with him as assistant coach.

| I hope Inu is an addition and not a replacement. Backroom investment is essential to future success. That will obviously depend on the role he has and Grix's desire to stay under a different coach in potentially a different role.

| £150,000 for a coach is certainly unheard of in the modern game and must bode well for the news of potential investment but things have certainly moved a pace from a couple of weeks ago when Richie Myler was just a player few of us had any good memories of. Now he has rode into town on a white horse and given us all hope with big promises of investment and now a real intention making, big money bid for a coach. Its still hard for me to see how anyone would want to invest big style in a club that doesn't even own its own ground and is in a pretty invidious lease situation and that is, lets face it, a club that seems to have a permanent death wish as far as the playing side, which has been visibly run down, is concerned. we all want to believe that its all straight up and happening and just the first steps on the way back for the club which I have to say it feels like it is! If Rowley signs then he certainly wouldn't be coming if there was any doubt in his mind about the validity of our position to deliver what he wants so all must be well.
AND exciting times indeed so why Can't I stop looking back to Tim Wilby , I think it's probably an age thing .

Definitely.
To be paying out a big compensation and to have convinced Rowley he’ll have funds to put together a competitive squad, it must be a decent chunk. It’d look iffy to external creditors if they were still waiting on payment, so probably the COVID loan is covered too?
Be interesting to see who is behind it.

| Even then, Andrew and/or Stephanie and/or somebody else?
How big is their stake, what are their goals?
We’ll find out soon, and it’ll probably be pretty dull. Fun little mystery plot element, for now though.
