I honestly can't recall the last time I was genuinely excited before a match let alone a signing.

How about yesterday's announcement that we are playing in our blue kit at the weekend?

If that doesn't get you exited nothing will.

I think for me, even though it didn't work out, it was when Hodgson was appointed, felt like a new start of the club, someone not connected to the club at all who had lots of good ideas and philosophies, like getting Eddie Jones to training , trying to change the way players go about things, having a set position for Connor etc, just a shame it didn't work out as I think Hodgson is a very intelligent bloke and could do well at a club with an already positive culture like saints or Wigan

"Wigan Warriors are delighted to announce that Head Coach Matt Peet along with Assistant Coaches Sean O’Loughlin OBE and Thomas Leuluai have penned new seven-year deals that will see them remain with the Club until at least the end of the 2030 season."

Don't get ideas Adam

Who knew the 10 was a reference to how many games he'd be banned for?!

I guess we'll only find out about the severity of Tuimavave's injury when Smith is asked at the presser for Saturday?

For me Carlos has served our club magnificently, an absolute ambassador for a sportsman, but sadly injuries and absence has probably brought his tenure with us to a close this season or before.

The alarming thing for me is his probable replacement, who we have invested in since his youth Cam Scott, is being linked with a championship team, just as he is showing solid improvement, and with the way our club is going, Wakey are favourites for his signature.

If Wakefield have offered him a big contract there's not much Hull can do apart from match or improve on it which they may be unwilling or unable to do.

Big wage increase and a lot less travelling. No brainer for the lad really.
