I realise that Paul but I thought that Pearson being Pearson, he would want to really "grab" the fans before the passes go on sale.

Don't know?

He's been stressing very strongly that he means business and that he wants all the fans onboard. What better way to do it than to make a big statement of intent with a very big/high profile signing or two!
