Well not one club in Super League does that so I'd say no, unless you think you know more than every coach in SL?

I'll look forward to your comments about all three pre season games.

You really are Mr Negativity aren't you! Here we have a coach who is committed to developing young FC players who has increased our usual pre-season friendlies from two to three. That, so he can offer a load of kids who have trained their socks off in the closed season and who would never play a team with so much experience in the reserves league, the chance to play together against a team who will probably be in the IMG mix sooner rather than later. For me, win or lose they will learn a lot and whatever happens it will be good to watch them battling to prove a point to that coach.

Not one super league club does what ?

Play 2 super league friendly? Think plenty will

Just makes sense to play youngsters against super league opposition in friendlys for practice

Watching the City v Norwich game and I have to say the pitch at the MKM is looking in an absolute shocking state. Very threadbare and not just in the football penalty areas.
