At least we can say we are top of the league in something.

Top of the league for red cards, top of the league for yellow cards.

If Ligi Sao was a club he'd be joint third for red cards.

We were in a similar spot last year when people kept saying we need to make good use of the last couple of quota spots, we were linked with Clune ,Watson, Blore amongst others and ended up with Okunbor and Brown, hopefully we don't end up with two more duds next season

Worryingly we intended to use a quota place on that PNG full back who hadn't played first grade and was also heavily linked with that PNG hooker who hadn't made the NRL either. Surely we should be aiming higher than that.

Not surprising really is it given the rest of our recruitment. We need a scrum half and a centre assuming trueman goes. Not that keen on lafai or Mcdonald as both seem to be on the downhill slope. Surely cartwright can find us a couple of decent players from oz

Both Lafai and Mcdonald have been excellent this year, we need a string running, tackle breaking, offloading centre, there are both these.

Laifai's age is his concern and Mcdonald seems to move clubs regularly.

I'd be happy with either, doubt we get either, hopefully pick up another Fonua (first spell) from the NRL.

Same with a halfback.

They really haven't been excellent. Their stats are pretty average

Thats why Ritchie Rich has brought in Hardaker and Chamberlain
Both well known for their strong running, tackle breaking and offloading.
Hardaker in particular is a wingers dream

Which stats?

Laifai is 3rd for tackle busts, Mcdonald top 3 in metres, rest of attacking stats as good as most other centres in SL.

I'd have them both in the top 5 centres in SL on current form, probably behind Wardell and Percival.

Lafai has scored 1 more try than sutcliffe, Mcdonald 3 more. Hardly pulling up any trees

Mcdonald also has more trys than Percival and Wardle, when I've seen them both play (which is most games) they have been excellent for most games, they are starring for a team in 4th.
