Perfect game, tough game in one they showed create character.

Balmforth a class above, shame he got injured first half, but his 2nd spell was excellent. Impressed with Jebson and Charles too.

Struggled first half against there pack, which had alot of experience.

Need to keep an eye on Jamie Gill from Bradford.

Fair too many penalties against both sides, hope this isn't the way the game is going.

Seems some good character in the youngsters would have being easy to shy away but instead fought till the end.

Something the first team hasnt done for seasons.

Well done to the kids…a battering was looking likely but they rolled their sleeves up and got stuck in and only lost by a last kick of game miss.It a good start as well to Cummins reign as academy coach and Grix as assistant to 1st team if he had any input.I reckon a sprinkling of 1st team and reserves V Donny and 1st team v Wigan.

Surprise surprise….see Keeef is logged on and having a browse.Mind you he may learn something about how an academy or reserve team is done seeing as our neighbours are just slinging money at any player….Koucash and Salford spring to mind .

Didn't go today but not surprised to see how the first half went. Bradfords starting pack had bags of experience.

Thought the youngs lads were going to nick it at the end

Great 'learner' for the lads great as well to see the resolve and battling they showed in the second half, I think our first team would have given up at half time in the past in those circumstances a lot of em will have learned a lot from that. Especially in that first period, I think we have a few real prospects coming through but as always at Hull FC only time will tell.
