Great news for you guys I think we didn't actually expect a full takeover but it was needed.

For now the 'investment' goes straight into Pearson's pocket but no doubt that wouldn't have happened if the new owners didn't have plans for actual further investment and they clearly have the means.

They have pretty much said that they will be taking wages out of the club after 3 years but not before. And there will definitely NOT be a new stadium so you are still at the mercy of your landlords Hull City.

So you have 3 years to catch up with Rovers. But Rovers are not standing still and look out for news in the new year which will guarantee the growth of the club for generations to come - with or without benefactors.

Update.....season ticket sales Hull FC 6k Hull KR 9k.

Who actually owns the land that is being developed for low cost housing?

Really exciting time for Hull FC - patience is needed as there's a lot of rebuilding to be done over the next couple of years but hopefully come 2027 the club can get right back in the mix.

If I had been at the forum I would have asked about the lack of pace in the new spine that has been assembled which I think could be a big limitation for Hull next year.

I actually think getting 2 half backs on the pitch every game is more important to us than pace. We're not going to challenge the top 6, we just need to be competitive every week

No problem. Bevan French and Jai Field signed sealed and delivered I've heard.

On a slightly more serious note we've been linked with Byrne. Probably not going to happen but what are your thoughts on him?

Fair comment from Pearson about Saturday games. Personally I much prefer them to Friday night games. I get that a lot will be of the opposite opinion though.

Questions were pretty good tonight apart from the woman plugging her travel firm.

That whole travel firm bit was just cringey as hell.

Frustrating in all honesty. When he plays with intensity he's a very solid and effective prop but ultimately has been too inconsistent. Seems to lack a bit of leg drive as well. That being said, he was in the best run of form in his career at the end of 2023 before injury hit and really imposed himself with and without the ball. Struggled with the new disciplinary rules early on in 2024 but ended the year as a regular in the 17 and did a good job for us. Still think there's untapped potential there but unsure whether he'll fulfill it.

When he hits some form Peet clearly rates Byrne as the 3rd best prop after Thompson and Havard. But Wigan might consider letting him go if they feel confident that Tyler Dupree, Harvie Hill and Sam Eseh will step it up next year, Byrne may want to go if he's unhappy playing off the bench at Wigan and/or he wants a longer term contract.

I salute you Tarquin. You have your finger on the pulse and gave us hope that this would come to fruition during the desperate times this season.

On a separate note I'm now starting to believe you had a long chat with Mal Meninga even though you can't spell his name correctly

I salute your salute !

Great news for the club and so many thanks
have to go to Adam Pearson!
What he must have gone through in Covid has
likely aged him 20 years.
He’s up there with Roy Waudby in the FC Hall of Fame

Onwards and Forwards !
I’ve been asleep whilst all this happened so
spending an hour reading it all.

I’m very excited to say the least and can’t wait
for the season to start.

I’ll say it now - we finish 5th ! And we beat kr filth at home

Was there tonight after meeting JWH and you have all been cond. if any of you think this is anything other than a move to close Hull FC down in favour of Thirkills goal you are delusional. Pearson has stitched you up left, right and centre. Don’t buy it. Ask yourself why invest?
