I am aware that Drinkwater was offered a new deal to sign another contract with Warrington, but turned it down because he had a better offer elsewhere.

If we did that would be a sure sign the investment isn't what we hoped it would be.

The non quota signings have been largely underwhelming but understandable given the options available at the time of the investment.

Using/wasting a quota place on Cust is strange and you have to wonder if that is the standard of player we are looking at to fill the final two places.

I'd rather play Cust and Abdull in the halves and sign another 9 instead of signing drinkwater, he's had more clubs than Tiger Woods.

As some have already said they had a meeting with Jordan in Catalans, with clear instructions that come from Cartwright about his fitness etc and it starts now.

I will believe it when I see it, good player on his day, just doesn’t seem to want to give himself the best chance to pave out a good career for himself.
