I put this the end of May and stick by it, the guys got potential to be a absolute stud over here. Was PNGs best along with Ipape in the WC and is killing it in the Q Cup from what I’ve read. Thought how well he played in his debut would have put an end to him potentially coming over here.

As a out and out second rower he would be a better option than Blore who is more of a ‘middle’.

Article also says we're after an overseas 7 and middle. Could be McLean?

I’d rather blore than McLean. More long term and we’re more in need for a back rower. Won’t scoff if we sign McLean though.

Can't have it all

McLean will add some much needed leadership to the side if he signed.

IF the recent rumours come off we'll have a handy looking pack going into next season.

Id definitely prefer Alick, Blore, Pele over Alick, McLean, Pele.

I just think +30 Aussies see it as a last hurrah whereas I like the idea of younger players having the hunger to have a couple of outstanding seasons here and see if they can earn an NRL deal (because normally in those couple of years, more players have come through the NSW Cup route anyway!)

Minnichiello was 30+ and he didn’t turn out too bad
